The Oracle Within: Liz Mulheron on Sacred Insight, Soul-Led Business, and Living in Alignment with the Unseen

There’s a particular kind of stillness that surrounds Liz Mulheron — the kind you don’t just hear, but feel. It’s the quiet confidence of someone who has walked through fire and returned with medicine. A holistic counsellor, intuitive mentor and energetic healer, Liz has spent over two decades guiding people to remember who they really are beneath the noise of the world. But long before she became a spiritual mentor to thousands, she was a woman asking the same question we all do: Is there more to this life and how do I find it?

From her Sydney-based practice to her international retreats and deeply transformative one-on-one sessions, Liz has become a bridge between the tangible and the unseen —weaving practical tools with soul wisdom to help people heal, expand and return to their inner knowing. In this intimate conversation, she shares the pivotal moments that shaped her path, the daily rituals that keep her grounded, and why the future of business is deeply, unapologetically spiritual.

Q: You’ve helped thousands access deeper clarity, healing and empowerment — but what was the moment you first realised you were being called into this work?
A: There wasn’t one single moment, it was a series of experiences that called me into this work.

I grew up seeing the power of prayer through my mother, a devoted Catholic and nurse. She healed with faith and presence and I now see how deeply I’ve inherited that ability — to care, intuit and bring light into unseen places.

My twin brother’s struggles also shaped me. After a relationship breakdown and mental health crisis, he became institutionalised and heavily medicated. Watching him navigate that pain, while I was awakening spiritually myself, taught me the importance of guidance, discernment and trust in the unseen. Years later, when I channelled him after his passing, I saw his light fully restored — a reminder that the soul always finds freedom.

Motherhood brought another calling. My sons’ severe allergies and eczema pushed me to explore holistic and spiritual healing. Treating the symptoms was only part of the solution; I had to understand the emotional and energetic roots of their suffering. Those experiences showed me the deep connection between body, mind, and spirit and opened the door to my true path.
A formal step came when a healer gave me a flyer for an angel reading course. I barely had the money, but my mother encouraged me to go. That course and the readings I did, revealed a gift I had been born with. From there, I studied Reiki, Pranic Healing, psychic development and mediumship, learning to channel divine energy safely and serve others.

Today, my work is about seeing the sun in front of people, clearing the clouds behind them, and removing invisible barriers that hold them back. I’m not God — I’m a conduit, a bridge between the human and the divine.

And the most important lesson I’ve learned?

Having the strength to follow the guidance. That courage to trust, even when the path is uncertain, transforms life for me and for everyone I’m privileged to support.

Q: Your work is deeply intuitive. What does intuition feel like for you — and how do you know when to trust it fully?
A: Intuition is a gentle, persistent whisper, a knowing in your body, a flicker of energy, or a quiet “just do this” that comes from your heart rather than fear. I trust it fully when it feels grounded, expansive, and aligned with my truth.

The key to strengthening your intuitive or inner voice is stillness: meditation, reflection, connecting with nature, or simply pausing to listen. Notice the small nudges, the thoughts or feelings that arise effortlessly. Trust grows with practice, and when you act from that place, life unfolds in ways logic alone could never map.
Intuition is your soul speaking — listen, trust and let it guide you.

A friend once said to me, “Let go, let God,” and that phrase has stayed with me ever since, reminding me that surrender and faith are the ultimate acts of listening to the unseen.

Q: You integrate energy healing, mentoring, retreats and spiritual tools. What threads connect all these offerings at their soul level?

A: At their core, all of my offerings — whether energy healing, mentoring, retreats, or spiritual tools — are connected by one central thread: alignment with the soul and reclaiming your inner power. Everything I do is about helping people step out of the noise of everyday life and into clarity, freedom and self-awareness.

Healing sessions address blocks that hold people back from living fully. Mentoring supports them in making empowered decisions and embodying their highest potential. Retreats create a sacred space for deep transformation, reflection, and expansion. And the spiritual tools I share — cards, guided meditations, and practices — give people a daily connection to their intuition and inner guidance.

No matter the modality, my work is about seeing the whole person — mind, body, and spirit and helping them integrate their past, release what no longer serves them and step confidently into their future. It’s multi-dimensional because the soul doesn’t operate in one layer; it speaks through energy, emotion, thought and action.

My purpose-led approach ensures every offering is a bridge between the tangible and the unseen, helping people live fully aligned, empowered and spiritually connected lives.

Q: What are some of the biggest misconceptions people have about spiritual or energetic work — and how do you reframe them for your clients?

A: One of the biggest misconceptions is that spiritual or energetic work is mysterious, vague or ‘woo-woo’. Many people think it’s about magic, fortune-telling or escaping reality. The truth is quite the opposite — it’s practical, grounded and deeply transformational. Energetic and spiritual work is about clarity, alignment and conscious choice. It helps people understand themselves, release what no longer serves them, and step confidently into their purpose.

Another misconception is that intuitive or healing work is about predicting the future or fixing everything for someone else. My role isn’t about giving answers for people to rely on, it’s about helping them access their own inner wisdom, make empowered decisions and heal blocks that have been holding them back.

I reframe these misconceptions for clients by showing that spiritual work is a practical tool for life. It’s about reconnecting with your intuition, understanding your energy and creating measurable shifts in emotional, mental and physical well-being. Once people experience it, they see it’s both empowering and entirely relatable — not mystical, but deeply human.

Q: Sacred wisdom often requires deep trust in the unseen. Have you ever had to leap without a safety net — and what happened?

A: Absolutely — one of the biggest leaps of my life was leaving a toxic marriage with three young children under six. I had no safety net, no guaranteed income and an overwhelming sense of responsibility. At the time, it felt impossible, terrifying even, but I knew deep down that staying would continue to hurt my children and me.

Trusting the unseen, I followed guidance from spiritual mentors and my intuition. Three months after leaving, profound shifts began to occur; my sons’ severe eczema improved and the emotional burdens that had weighed on our family started to lift. That experience taught me the power of divine timing and that when you step into faith, even the scariest decisions can create space for healing, growth and freedom.

It was a leap without a safety net but it became the foundation of everything I do today. It showed me that trusting the unseen isn’t just spiritual philosophy; it’s real, transformative and life-changing.

Q: What does a high-vibrational life actually look like for you day-to-day — in your habits, energy and relationships?

A: For me, a high-vibrational life isn’t about perfection — it’s about conscious choices that support clarity, energy and alignment every day. My mornings often begin with a grounding walk, followed by meditation, reading an inspiring quote, and setting clear intentions for the day. I move my body in ways that nourish me walking, swimming, or stretching and then enjoy a healthy, energising breakfast to start the day fully aligned.

The energy I carry is shaped by what I allow into my mind and space. I practise gratitude, release what no longer serves me, and surround myself with supportive, uplifting people. Boundaries are essential; they protect my energy and ensure my presence is fully available for both myself and those I serve.

A high-vibrational life also shows up in how I interact with others: listening deeply, speaking with intention, and holding space for others to feel seen, supported, and empowered. It’s about living consciously, energetically, and compassionately every single day.

Q: You’ve built a thriving spiritual business — what’s been your biggest challenge as a conscious entrepreneur, and how did you navigate it?

A: One of the biggest challenges of building a spiritual business is bridging two worlds: the unseen, intuitive, soul-led work, and the practical demands of running a business. It’s easy to get caught in either extreme — feeling too ‘woo-woo’ for the marketplace or too focused on strategy and losing the soul of your work.

I navigated this by aligning my business with my values and intuition. Every decision I make from services and pricing to partnerships and marketing is filtered through what feels authentic and soul-aligned. I also invest in structure and support where needed, so the business operates smoothly without compromising the heart of my work.

Ultimately, the lesson has been clear: thriving as a conscious entrepreneur requires trusting your inner guidance, setting healthy boundaries and remembering that service and profitability can coexist when purpose leads the way.

Q: You offer sessions that support major life transitions. What is it about these sacred spaces that creates such transformation?

A: The sessions I offer are sacred spaces designed to support major life transitions, and I provide them in person, by phone, or via video link. What makes them transformational is the combination of energetic healing, intuitive guidance and reflective practices that help people release what no longer serves them.

Clients often experience clarity, emotional release, and insight that allows them to move forward with confidence. The work is both practical and soul-led bridging the inner world with tangible action helping people step into their next chapter with alignment, empowerment and renewed purpose.

Q: With so many awakening right now, what is your core message to those just beginning their spiritual journey?

A: My message to anyone just beginning their spiritual journey is simple: trust yourself, be patient and follow the guidance that resonates with your heart. Awakening is a process, not a destination. You don’t need to have all the answers or understand everything immediately — the path unfolds in its own timing.

Start by tuning into your intuition, observing your thoughts and feelings and practising small daily rituals that bring clarity and grounding. Surround yourself with supportive people and teachings, and release the need to compare your journey to anyone else’s.

Most importantly, know that you are exactly where you need to be, and every experience, even the challenging ones, is helping you remember your soul’s wisdom and your power.
Q: If you could give our readers one intuitive ritual or practice to reconnect with their inner knowing this week — what would it be?

A: If I could share one intuitive ritual this week, it would be a simple ‘morning check-in with your energy and intention’. Begin by sitting quietly for five minutes, closing your eyes, and taking deep, slow breaths. Place your hands over your heart and ask yourself: “What do I need to see, feel, or release today?”

Notice any sensations, thoughts, or images that arise — don’t judge them, just observe. Then set a small intention based on what comes through. Even a few minutes of this practice each morning helps you reconnect with your inner guidance, clear energetic clutter, and step into your day aligned and empowered.

And finally — just be YOU.

You are not broken. You don’t need fixing. You simply need to accept and celebrate the beautiful, unique gift that you are!

Blessings to all, Liz.

My Next Life

I often say I’ve had many incarnations within this single lifetime. We don’t only get reborn when we leave this world — we reinvent ourselves
